How a trip with us works
From the first call to the photo album after you’re home, one coordinator looks after you. They know the route in person and answer messages even on the day you fly.
-
1
A conversation
A 20-minute call: we learn how you like to travel and suggest two or three routes with dates that fit.
-
2
Booking
A 30% deposit holds your seat. The contract and all documents arrive by email the same day.
-
3
Getting ready
A packing list for your latitude and season, help with flights and visas, and an introduction to the group in a shared chat.
-
4
On the road
Your guide meets you at the airport. Groups of up to twelve, and a support line that never sleeps.
-
5
Coming home
A week later you get the guide’s photo album and a map of the route with every place you stood.
Upcoming departures
Seats in our groups go three to six months ahead. These are the dates you can still make.
The latitude calendar
Every place has its best month. Pick the month of your vacation and see which routes come alive at that time.
On the road with our team
We walk every route ourselves before we bring the first group, and come back each season to check that nothing has changed.
What travelers say when they come home
From the journal
We write about what we learn on the road: how to pack for the Arctic, when Kyoto’s maples turn red and why you should never show a bear your sandwich. All articles
